The grapes for this wine where grown at our Lusatia Park vineyard in the Yarra Valley. High altitude, a cool climate and deep volcanic soils produce Chardonnay with delicate stone fruit characters, citrus like acidity and mineral undertones.
Very mineral and fresh aromatics of ripe melon and lemon with a touch of oak. The palate is fresh and lively with rich fruit, balanced acidity and subtle oak. Enjoy with rainbow trout 'escabeche' with fried shallots.
Delightful varietal fruit characters of melon and citrus are enhanced by subtle oak treatment to make this a beautifully balanced wine. Fresh and lively on the palate with a long, dry finish, this wine should develop beautifully in the bottle: cellar to four years.
