Surprise yourself. Tropical aromas of pineapple and passionfruit are a highlight on the nose of this refreshing, fulfilling Marsanne. The subtle use of oak adds a dimension to the palate which enhances the lingering apricot finish. This wine is delightful to try now and it will develop classic Marsanne characters with age.

Salmon-pink colour, the spicy notes to the fruit, and the mouthfeel suggest barrel fermentation, but none has in fact been used; the technique has worked well to present a rose with good flavour, good balance and good attitude.

This is an approachable wine with its seductive mix of smokey, savoury, earthy, gamey, graphite elements mixed with juicy red and black fruit flavours. It is fresh, creamy and smooth on the palate with intensity, balance and texture. The fine tannin is in balance and carries the complex, mineral, earthy flavours very well. These wines have been maturing very well and we are seeing improvement over five to seven years where increases in textural interest and complexity develop whilst fruit definition and freshness remain. Ideally cellar for a couple of years and drink over the next five or so.

This Bress Heathcote Shiraz was bottled using a Screw Cap closure. Using a Screw Cap closure is our attempt to ensure that our wine is presented free of cork characters (good or bad) and that the full aroma and flavour of this wine is expressed.
This wine should be decanted prior to serving.

La Gallina, is Spanish for 'The hen'. Apt we think, given this wine is made using Spanish grape varieties in large part and is very Spanish in style.
The fruit for this Syrah, Sangiovese, Merlot blend was selected from a range of vineyards situated in both Heathcote and the Bendigo appellations. The vineyards are either managed or supervised by Bress and are all at least 10 years old. We endeavour to ensure that crops are no greater than 2.5 tonne to the acre and it is this cropping level that gives the wine such concentration.

A light golden straw with fine bead issuing from a clean sparkling flute. A complex array of both fruit and secondary aromas of strawberry, confection and citrus complimented by yeasty and bready characters. Tightly packed full of fruit and secondary flavours. There is a creaminess that is conferred by the carbonation and gives the wine freshness, balance, and a long savoury richness
